One in Two
Many won’t know this, but this blog was started on one of my best friend’s birthday. He’s one of the closest people to me and when we first became friends 4 years ago, we were instantly family. Since then, we claimed each other to be “twins”. So, for this one time, I’m stepping away from the couple stories.
(Don’t hate me!)“Stay here and wait for me, okay?” he ordered her.
She nodded diligently at him with a smile.
As he started to walk away, he suddenly stopped and turned back around.“And don’t talk to anyone.”
She sighed loudly and looked at him.
“I don’t get why you treat me like a little kid, I’m only ten minutes younger than you.”
He flashed a quick smile at her and walked off.
The two looked nothing alike, but nonetheless they were twins in the end.
She swung her feet back and forth as she sat waiting for her brother to return. Getting bored, she took out her iPod and shoved her headphones on to occupy her time.
He walked off to find her the perfect gift. Even though he knew that she would probably figure out what he had bought her before she even opened it, he still wanted to try and surprise her.
